Reverse Speech in english Messages is it Fact or Fiction can they be used in a court of law and why

Updated on August 31, 2011

Do subliminal messages come out into the open through reverse speech?

There are those who make fun of reverse speech, but serious study of this subject will reveal that much of reverse speech is clearly understandable and heard as speech.Although I have to admit that some speech is difficult to make out most of it is decernable as speech. Some reverse speech is so clear as to be understandable when it's reversed version along with it's normal version are together reversed.

For Example; Obama's presidential campaign slogan -"Yes We Can" recorded then reversed and put alongside the original and then the two together are reversed says the the same thing but Instead of saying "Yes We Can" -reveresed - "Thank You Satan" It will say " the reverse "Thank You Satan" - "Yes We Can" It is almost Impossible to tell which statement was reversed .

"Not all reverse speech is deciperable as English. Athough I have heard that this also works in other languages as well.

Technology has made it possible to record and playback speech in reverse. The first known reverse speech that I'm aware of occurred on vinyl records. I 'm sure many people thought it amusing and dismissed what famous people such as singers were supposed to have said.in reverse. With computers we have today anyone can record their own speech and reverse it and then play it back as, I have done out of curiousity and you have objective evidence that certain words and phrases sound exactly like other words when played back in reverse.you have to wonder if there is something to this. Even though psychology is in it's infancy subliminal messages have been used in advertising to influence people to buy things as well as Ideas. This is a well documented fact..Sexual images in pictures logos etc.. have been used to influence our youngsters as well as adults to sell foods and drinks.Psychology in advertising has been well known for it's ability to subliminally sell anything to the public including politicians claiming to be our savior. Is,it possible that we really have no choice but to tell the truth subliminally without our conscious knowledge as to what is really being said? Then if we are careful enough I suppose that we could write out what we want to say in a speech ,so as to prevent any such subliminal message from coming out of our mouths.Of,course that would require us to never say anything other than what we script for ourselves to say. A teleprompter would make that fairly easy for anyone to do.Especially politicians.Maybe that's why many politicians would rather not participate in debates where they can't script their answers. What do you think?.

Would there ever be an instance where reverse speech would be allowed as evidence in a court of law?

I can see it being used in divorse cases where recorded statements of a spouse could be used against them in court!
