      As opposed to what you had for the last 8 years LOL - Hmmmmmmm. Wonder why it got this bad? Nothing to do with the last 8 years of slow erosion of personal freedom in favor of massive pay packets for the government and banking elite.

      Yeah, socialism sounds much, much worse than that.

        There's a missing piece to this thought:  take a walk through Caracas and take a walk through New York.  Then you will know the difference.

    I don't understand how the last 8 years was brought up into this conversation.  I didn't attempt to compare socialism to the last 8 years in any way.  All I'm stating is that Chavez happened to suggest socialism for America and it's a coincidence he stated it was possible during Obama's presidency.

      Same here.  I think Omaha has worse 'unchecked' crime than does NYC.

      Somebody tried to mug me in DC, but I was able to duck into the Mayflower hotel.
