The Copenhagen meeting where the whole world is there....

New taxes, higher product cost and maybe a little reduction in pollution and the end of the political discussion whether it makes a difference or not.

I think it will eventually get dusted off and thrown into politcal campaigns as the same non action rallying cries that abortion, social security reform and campaign financing recieve.

A lot of talk and no resolution.  What can I say other than it reflects our polarized electorate.

It will help to continue the hatred of capitalism and secure the majority of the blame for anything wrong in the world on the US.

Well if the shoe fits wear it I always say.  But if it doesn't then pass it on to someone else. Wait a minute the US does that too.

Are you saying that capitalism should be hated and the majority of blame for anything wrong in the world should fall on the US?

Well at least the world should be suspicious of our intents.

Review your notes on American foreign relations history to find your answer.  You must use that education you so proudly boast about. Good day to you sir.smile

It will achieve higher taxes and more out of pocket money for Obama"s plane fuel.
You know that the leader of any country does not have the time to go around checking smoggy factories to see if they have an impact on the climate. And his hired employees do not give a care,as long as they aren't bothered by the tax payer.

What I don't understand is why the green gurus don't practice what they preach. What kind of example are they setting for the rest of us?

TK I will quote you something from the Bible that may have some meaning. Mt 7:6 "Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you."

I could give you many instances of your self indulgence as to your educational boasting but I would be wasting my time as you lack the character to accept any self criticism. So I will leave you with this scripture.

Climate change will be the excuse bad governments (cf. Gordon Brown) use to control and browbeat the people that mistakenly elected them.

This is a scheme to move nations towards a single world government.
