This famous conspiracy theory has been roaming around the world for many decades. Do you think it could actually have some sort of true meaning or is it simply a fruit of imagination?

If you would like some insight, I offer a hub I wrote on "why world peace is not happening?", which you could probably associate with a "New World Order", only because it would tell you who would actually attempt to bring it about. wink

All you have to do is a little bit of research.  The New World Order is very real.  You should never believe those that downplay the obvious.

Here's a mention of the New World Order directly from Whitehouse.gov (first paragraph):

    http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/preside … drowwilson

Here is a mention that is found on the CIA's own website, entitled, The CIA in the New World Order: Intelligence Challenges Through 2015:
    https://www.cia.gov/news-information/sp … thson.html

    Here's another one for you:
    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC169180/

Its not that hard, really...  Just google "new world order .gov" and only click on .gov websites, then read for yourself.  Eventually the whole picture starts to form and you finally "get it."  To supplement that search simply perform searches inside websites like cfr.org and trilateral.org

The 'New World Order' is not new. It is just becoming more expansive.

A one world government, in my mind, is increasingly necessary...

In many ways, the nation state is obsolete, and is even used by multi-national corporations to undermine labor/human rights, environmental laws, and utilize manipulated currencies to extract the most profit at the least cost....

Instead of fighting against the inevitable (for the path of globalization has already created the plutocratic-international elite), it is vital for the rest of us to not let "nationalism" limit our abilities to coordinate and network with populations that would otherwise be deemed "foreign"...

Regarding the articles posted by the thread creator, I think the CIA article has been misinterpreted....at least in some way...

The term "New World Order" carries with it so many connotations....and do not all correlate to conspiracy theories...

You have no idea who is running things now.

The "New World Order" has been evolving since the advent of trade routes.

What is now 1000 US military facilities and bases world wide? Is it four wars or how many? Is it one trillion a year to support this empire?

I don't see any new order at work in the world, only the same old one of greed, war, religious hatred, terrorism.  The difference is that all of these things happen more quickly because of the nature of communications in the modern world.  Everything is much more connected now, and national boundaries have little meaning in a world of the Internet and instant information.  Also economically,  no nation can be isolated any more.  Also man's ability to destroy our environment has greatly increased in recent years.  Whole forests can disappear within days instead of centuries. I think man's instincts are the same as ever, but we have let things get out of control now, and old ideas of morality no longer hold us back from doing terrible things in the name of progress.

New World Order is a dream for poor and developing countries... one day, it will become a reality, and those who oppose it will go into oblivision.

A country will 18% of population and another country with 25 % of humanity have to sit as one member-country in UNO alongwith petty-little countries such as Benin, NZ, Belgium, Nederlands, Denmark, etc. Is this a just world order?  No. It is world's disorder.

Just imagine, Kuwait, which has a population, 150th of India's population, has a currency valued 183 times than that of Indian currency. Is this a just world order? No.  China, a country, with population, six times higher than America, has a currency 12 times less valued than American currency. Is this a just world order?  In a decade or less, everything will go upside down and there will be a new, just world order, respecting the deserving countries.
