I am a Registered Architect in 3 States.  I am a Certified Accessibility Plan Reviewer/Inspector and Building Plan Reviewer by the International Code Council.  I started my practice as an Architect in January of 1978.  I did not graduate High School until June of that Year.

I have been married to my lovely wife for almost 10 years, and we have 3 children.  I am the oldest in a set of triplets, and thankfully did not have a litter myself.

I spent most of my life preparing for my career and playing, coaching, and umpiring softball/baseball.  Being part of team sports taught me a lot about teamwork and how to work with others.  I have been involved with my church for the last 20 years, coaching the softball and volleyball teams, as well as being our Church Architect.  I was brought up in a home that was always politically aware, and that turned into some political action as well.

In 1997, I ran for the District 6 seat on the Phoenix City Council, and have served on the Phoenix Mayor's Commission for Disability Issues, where I have Vice-Chaired the Architectural, Accessibility, and Design Committee.  In 2002 I stood up as one of the main voices opposing the adoption of a new building code in the City of Phoenix (NFPA 5000), a campaign that was successful when the City of Phoenix adopted the International Building Code in 2004.
