Welcome to my hubpages! You may now cue up the blinding-light-from-heaven epiphany here.....

Just Kidding. I want to take this time to introduce myself and set the stage for my madness for anyone that may stumble upon my scripturient editorials and still wants to get to know me.  You will notice, I don't like writing in the 3rd person, this isn't a resume, it's just me!

When I'm not working my day job as a permit consultant, I'm writing.  Well that's not entirely true.  part of my job consists of Chicago permit expediting which often calls for me to wait in long lines (by lines I mean imaginary lines waiting for my number to be called) sometimes for hours.  So during this time, I break out the laptop and take part in the community here at Hubpages.

Hubpages has a great community of helpful and friendly individual from all walks of life and all levels of experience eager to share our knowledge with anyone that cares to listen.  You can Join Hubapges Too!

I am the owner of 411Article.com where authors can promote their articles and my hubber friends can post complemtary pieces to their hubs to build backlinks and pulishers can get free content.

411article.com is hosting its Winter Short Story Fiction Competition. Top prizes are $500, $250, and $150 plus publication in the contest anthology. There will be 3 cash awards and 25 publication awards. All entrants will receive a critique of their story entry. Word count must be a minimum of 1000 and maximum of 3000. Stories can be of any genre but all stories must have a WINTER SETTING. Entry fee: $15 per story. Entries accepted online via email submission and fees via PayPal only. Entries will begin on September 15, 2009. Deadline: December 15, 2009. Info: Short Story Fiction Contest

Oh, I'm not finished yet...lol I just started a new site (Oct. 2009) called HeyWorldImHere.com  and it is all about SEO, starting a new blog, and blogging for profit  It is also there to promote my writing here on HP and soon some writing of my hubber freinds.  I'm not a guru and I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel.  I have learned a thing or two in my 10 years online and I am earning a nice residual from multiple streams of income.  Stop by and tell me what you think of the new site and I'll do the same for you.

I have a BA in History and I have written half a dozen screen plays, none of which have been produced, yet! My favorite genre's are historical fiction, horror, and dark comedy.  When writing non fiction, I stick to my priorities, Family, Faith, and Friendship.
