The Four Top Sites to Find a Lost Friend or Love on the Internet
Where Do You Start?
Finding a lost friend or love is becoming increasingly easier nowadays with the popularity of social networking and superb search engines. Before spending money on a personal investigator visit these four useful sites first to begin the start of your reunion.
Google Searching on Google is probably the easiest way to find a friend. If you have an idea where your friend or lost love might be living then put that location in with the name and see what pops up. Any additional info about your friend will help with the search. Another thing that helps is to put the person’s name in parenthesis, “john doe”. This will search for exactly that whole word and nothing in between. Click on the advanced search option to help you do this automatically.
Facebook After registering for an account go to the search box at the top of the page. Put the name of the person you are searching for. It may pull up 500 of the John Doe’s you are searching but scroll down to where it says View All People Results. Toward the top of the page it has a filter box. You can the type the person’s location, school or workplace if known. This option will break it down and make it easier for you to find that special person. If you happen to still have your friend/lover’s email address you can put this in the search box as well and it will bring up any account that might be listed with them.
Myspace Another social networking site like Facebook but easier to find friends. On here you can break it down to age and a five mile radius. You don’t have to open an account to begin your search for your lost love or friend. At the top of the page in the search box type in the person’s name. If more than one person pops up go to Filter Results on the right side of the page and from there you can break it down to location and more. Like Facebook you can also search by email.
Pipl This is a great site that supposedly searches the deep web. At this site you can search by name, email, username or phone number. The search will bring up a ton of different results from networking sites, webpages, news articles, etc.
Good luck with your search and don’t give up!! Your missing friend or lost love is out there. Who knows maybe they are searching for you! You might be the one getting that surprise email or friend request.
