It must be more than love. This is what i have to say. He should be brave (or stupid) enough to stick around even when she appears to be in total mess. The desire to hold onto someone when it is the hardest thing to do says a lot about the strength of character or depth of love.

He must be my reciprocal...he is what I am not, we fit. Where I am weak, he is strong and where he is weak, I am strong...If one is the dreamer, the other is the doer in a given situation, and then they exchange places. Everything should be reciprocated as in emotional, physical, intellectual or interests...that's harmony and spontaneous fun unique to them...(the couple)...none other could replace or substitute for such completeness of the match.

Kind, caring, compassionate and loves the Lord, which I did not look for way back when I was married, but we are still married after 34 years.  Now, I would say the most important is that you be equally yoked.

A robust man who has enough energy to pay some bills.  He should attempt to communication articulately, a man who has a strong crave that consist of enjoying some of my interest, a guy who act as if he loves or like me is a vital factor worthy of my attention and lastly I hope he will listen to something I tell him.

Our description of the perfect match shades light upon our own traits it seems. Or could ladies be describing their fathers' characteristics? Nice response

Vital factor in a prospective husband would have to be great communication, trustworthy, secure, ambitious, responsible, humor, wise, faithfulness, considerate, and not selfish.
