All men are created equal means that all men are the same in the eyes of their Creator. The Declaration goes on to say, certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. The document itself is to establish the United States of America. These are the beliefs that our nation is based upon and the basis for our laws. Though the belief that all men, everywhere are equal, the document has little to offer anyone outside of the U.S., except as something to strive for.
