Our words do matter

Our words that we speak are so vitally important in our lives whether we want to experience a better life. The bible speaks of the power of life and death is in our tongue (Proverbs 18:21) I have mentioned may times before in my other hubs (please do check them out HERE IS ONE) that when we speak our words are like spiritual containers and they travel into our future preparing what we have been declaring.

For the Christian believer, it is best that we use the name above all names (JESUS) when declaring so that we are securing our position as a born again believer, bible believing, child of the most High God and speaking with authority and power. This should be done daily.

Prayer and confession of scriptures are two of the most powerful weapons we have in life. They connect us to God and allow His power to flow to us in every situation. - JOHN ECKHARDT

Jean Ann McNally says -Your words are making the way for your destiny-whether good or bad. Are you speaking positive words or negative words? You can not expect victory in your life and speak negative words.

Your Choices Determine Your Tomorrow

Deut 30: 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.

Words That We Say Matter

What does the bible say about our mouth...

I also shared in my other hubs that since we are created in the image and likeness of God and God spoke everything into existence, this is how we can create also. Now since we are not perfect it requires us to declare a good word over our lives more than once, in most cases daily until you see results. We speak it first then, dwell on it and then do it. We make it ready by our words to get into divine alignment so God gets involved which then (God is the most successful being in existence) enables God to make it happen in our lives and it all starts by our words.

An example: Let's say a person is homeless and without food/shelter. That is a sad situation no matter how you look at it. One might ask, "how did they get into that situation?" I can almost certainly say it all started with their words combine with their actions, whether it took them years, months or weeks even days. The enemy (Satan) has to use words to curse us and in almost all cases, he has to use our own words to curse us. If that man (who is now homeless in this example) started to say out of their mouth, "I'm not going to be promoted, I might get fired," or " this job is doing nothing for me, this might be my last day here," or I never have enough money to pay my bills," or even worse words like, "I could lose every thing tomorrow!" That's not giving God anything to work with to bless us but its giving everything that the enemy (Satan) needs to use against us. Our words by faith empower our outcome.

When a person releases those words out of their mouth, chances are they have been thinking about those words for some time. The bible says as a man thinketh so is he (Proverbs 23:7) and a double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8).

What we think about, dwell on, meditate on, etc., we will surely say out of our mouth one day whether we know it or not. When a person is under pressure that is when they will speak their mind so to speak. That is when their true words within their heart will flow out of their mouths.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (Matthew 12:34) If we are double minded (meaning we think one thing and do another all the time) that person will not be fruitful at all. The bible says they will be unstable in all their ways and all their ways means exactly that "all their ways."

We truly have to give God something to work with. Words that line up with His word and His word is His will for our life.

3 John 1:2 - Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth

Joel 3:10 - Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, “I am strong.”

Matthew 5:3 - Blessed are the poor in spirit (which is an attitude of not bragging about what one has), for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Heaven is their goal and having heaven on earth was within Jesus' model prayer. Look below.

Jesus' model prayer - Matthew 6:9-13

Our words that we speak can cause miracles

On the other hand...

Let's say someone is not feeling well yet they are grateful for their home, their job, their friends and family etc., and they don't have a perfect life (and who does anyway) and they just want to bless the name of the Lord and praise and worship God. They start declaring, "In the name of Jesus, I am well, I am blessed, I am healed." They also say, "I have a wonderful future and God loves me and I love God and Jesus died for my sins and rose from the grave just to love me more and more, thank you Jesus." Well that person is singing a different song in their words, it really is attractive to God and He inhabits the praise of His people.

Praising God gives us strength or momentum to keep us going forward without fear which gets God more involved in our lives.

Kenneth Copeland writes - Praise is more than just words. There is power in it. God did not ordain praise just so we could brag on Him. Psalms 8:1-2 says, “O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.”

Jesus quoted this verse of scripture and said, “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise” (Matthew 21:16). Strength and praise are the same according to the Word of God. God ordained praise to stop Satan in his tracks.

Only Jesus Is Lord

Very important too..

Stay grateful, that strikes a chord with God and gets him involved in our life. Say/declare that with your faith DAILY and say words that line up with the word of the living God and always, always declare it in the name above all names and that name is JESUS. This is so very important.

Psalm 22:3

But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.

Stay grateful and thankful and joyful by saying faith filled words that will empower your day, it will be very hard for the enemy (Satan) to stop you. Get people around you who encourage you. Or sometimes we have to be the greatest encourager in our lives and tell ourselves we're blessed, highly favored and deeply love by God. It is so vitally important to declare blessings over your life and your family EACH DAY that it will determine how your year will be.
