NERVOUS ENERGY, CAN'T STAND WAITING

 I am so nervous and excited waiting to watch my Mountaineers beat the Duke men of Durham, North Carolina. The couches will be flaming in Morgantown, West Virginia when we rout the Duke Blue Devils.  I’ve heard the Morgantown police will be out in full force, but they better bring along the Morgantown Fire Department. We Mountaineers love our team and we don’t take no crap from anyone about it. It’s a love that must be fulfilled with total victory. Duke’s just a warm up for the National Championship.

 What kind of name is that does he think he’s a cereal?  No disrespect meant check that it actually was. Huggie Bear will show Special K how to coach. It’s the year of the Mountaineers. The defense is impenetrable and the offense is now shooting threes like lay-ups. Mazzulla and Butler will give Duke a basketball clinic. I may be biased but it’s the year of the Mountaineer. I sure hope so because I hate the taste of crow. Nah the Mountaineers will come through with flying colors.

Not since 1959 has such an opportunity come along. Those Mountaineers were led by a legend Jerry West. He is even the logo of the NBA. He came one game short of the dream of a National Championship, but that wasn’t for lack of trying. That’s why this year's Mountaineers are a team of destiny.
