Jewelry as a Gift

Jewelry is something most women enjoy receiving as a gift from someone special. Every time they wear that piece of jewelry they are reminded of the person who gave it to them. Most women will even remember the circumstances surrounding he occasion and probably what they were wearing the day you gave it to them.

Jewelry is often the accessory most women turn to spruce up an otherwise drab outfit enabling them to make their wardrobe stretch.

When deciding what to get your sweetheart for Christmas, your anniversary, her birthday or Valentine's Day consider jewelry. Even if you already have something else in mind to get her, you can still find a piece of jewelry to slip into the bag with it just to surprise her.

Around Valentine's Day everyone will have jewelry that incorporates a heart into it. Another common theme is a heart-shaped lock with a key often accompanied with some type of inscription on them something like "you hold the key to my heart". I especially like the heart-shaped skeleton keys too that are very popular this year.

You simply can't go wrong with a heart-shaped pendant necklace for Valentine's Day.  There are so many elegant styles to choose from.  I especially like the dangling heart like the ones shown here. 

If you've got the money, and really want to impress her, you can buy her a heart-shaped diamond ring.  There are many styles to choose from, many of them with additional colored stones such as rubys to give them a bit more Valentine feel.

A heart bracelet is a nice way to say "I Love You".  If you think about it, women usually have many more necklaces than they do bracelets.  Surprise her with a heart bracelet. 

There are probably a million different heart-shaped earrings to choose from.  You can find studs, dangle earrings, lever backs, etc.  They come in gold, silver, and every imaginable stone color.  Diamonds are nice, and if you can afford them, I highly recommend them.  If not, don't be ashamed to get her something less expensive that will probably look just as nice on her. 

Chokers are particularly popular with younger females.  Chokers are also common with Goth, Victorian or Steampunk styles.  They are often found in black, ivory or a dusty rose.  These look quite nice on women with long thin necks.

Loving Family jewelry is the perfect gift for the woman who enjoys displaying her love for her family, particularly her children.  Often this jewelry shows a mother figure with arms outstretched holding hands with one or more children to signify her own number of children.  You can find pieces that also include a father figure if you're wanting to display a whole family.

Liquid silver is such an elegant piece of jewelry. If you're not familiar with liquid silver it's thousands of tiny tubular beads strung on multiple strands. You'll rarely find a piece of liquid silver jewelry that has fewer than four strands. Ten and twenty is very common. The strands have a very fluid, or liquid, feel to them. I've never found a person that didn't love liquid silver once I introduced it to them.

The "Key to My Heart" necklace is a popular choice.  Every woman would like to know that she holds the key to your heart.  Some necklaces incorporate the key into the heart and some have a separate key that dangles from the heart.
