Get Right Fit for Men's Clothing and Unisex Clothing. What Do those Men's Size Numbers and Letters Mean ?

Updated on April 27, 2012

Introduction

I am not a tailor but I work closely with the clothing industry responsible for clothing factory workers with various uniforms. Finding the right size for the right people is always an interesting issue. You can buy the perfect clothing size for a person's body type and it still might not be the right fit. For example, the clothes are sized wrong or the wearers personal preference (prefer baggier jeans etc) may override the correct fit.

I can not correct all of these nuances here but I can give you some basics that might help. This article I'll simply get into what all of those letters and numbers translate to in terms of size.

I'll dedicate on section to each size. These figures apply to men's sizes and unisex sizes.
