Best Gift Ideas For Someone That Has Everything

Updated on January 16, 2011

Introduction to the Best Present Ideas

Do you have that special person in your life who seems to have simply everything? That is, this is the person you can never find the best gift idea for because every gift imaginable they already own.

Appliances, electronics, cookware, sporting goods, that stuffed owl ... they have it all.

You care for this person, you want to buy something for this person, but you don't know what to get this person. It could be a birthday, anniversary, a milestone, anything to celebrate.

Who Would Know Better About a Gift ?

In circumstances where someone already has everything and I don't know the best gift to buy, think about who would know what this person wants the most for a present.

In other words, what person in the world would know exactly what this person is missing in life?

Still thinking?

Frankly, the person who would know is the person you are buying for. Simple as that.

With that in mind what do you do now?

Ask or Not?

You could ask the person directly what they want. Always a great idea. But what I think you should do for a gift is consider giving this person a gift card.

If you buy them a gift card, you are giving the gift receiver the power to choose the gift of their liking.

It also takes a lot of the guess work out of your head.

Get Gift Cards Right Here on the Web !

The best part is, there are plenty of offers online where you can buy gift cards.

By buying on line, you'll save yourself the trouble of, driving to the mall, finding parking, shopping at crowded stores, standing in long lines, getting back to your car, driving home, etc

You've Got Options

When buying a gift card online, there are a lot of options and ideas to choose from.

This works out well two ways:

1. Obviously he or she as interests because they already have everything. The diverse amount of gift cards should enable you to find something .... anything.... that relates to something your friend enjoys.

2. If you want to spite their interests and go for a surprise, try buying a gift card for something they wouldn't normally try. Never been to a particular restaurant? Try getting them a gift card to that restaurant.

I hope that helps!  Birthday gift ideas , Christmas present ideas , special occasion gifts, etc can all settled with a gift certificate card.

They'll thank you for remembering and you'll thank yourself for how easy it was for your to purchase gift cards.

A gift card that can be used anywhere (like a Visa gift card versus a store gift card) gives the recipient more freedom and variety to choose which really comes in handy if they don't need anything - but everyone needs groceries and gas.

A gift card certainly is easier.
