I felt sad for Bubblews writers

I no longer write for Bubblews. I'm still thankful because this site served as the way for me to discover that it's possible for me to earn online. I felt sorry for their existing writers.

Wishing them luck and success in their new online venture. I remembered the day when Squidoo (another writing site) shutdown.

About Bubblews

It's a website or blogging platform introduced by Arvind Dixit and Jason Zuccari to the world wide web in 2012.

Their website have a unique name which I believe is a combination of Bubbles and News.

As of December 2014: Bubblews is made up of 13 staff.

They became popular in the Philippines after they made a post on their Official Facebook Page about a lady who was able to buy some toys from her Bubblews earnings for some kids in Tacloban City during the wrath of Yolanda Typhoon.

Bubblews is a paid blog site that caught the attention of different races. They share their revenues to their members who create content and made interactions within Bubblews community.

Based on their previous statements, a member could earn from views, comments and likes on their posts or blogs.

Majority of their members are from the Philippines, Canada, India, Sri Lanka, U.S.A., United Kingdom, and Australia.

Bubblews Huge Changes

  • The ability to see the number of views on your post was gone.
  • There is a limit for you to redeem - Only once in 30 days and 60 days to wait for their payment if you did not violate their rules.

They is no longer support the following countries: Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Vietnam. They believe that some of the members on those countries mentioned made violations like spamming and manipulating the number of views.

Due to those changes I mentioned, some members got upset and no longer create posts.

Bubblews Platform

Bubblews website works on any type of device whether it's a mobile phone or an Android tablet. There is no working mobile app available for Bubblews.

My Experience with Bubblews

I became a member of this website on June 4, 2014 (my first account).

My second account was created on August 3, 2014.

I was able to use their old platform (Beta 2.0) in which I have included my Facebook page. However, I got spam messages from spammers because during that time they had some issues with spams and bots. I also encountered internal server errors every now and then.

They launched their new platform wherein spammers and plagiarists have been rampant.

A Facebook group was formed to address this issue and I joined them. Our group is against the violators, plagiarists, and spammers to save their site.

After joining the group, I got too many spam messages on my own Facebook account so I left my old account and deleted my posts. My friend told me that he got his payment and he urge me to join again so I created a new account. My old posts on the old account is still indexed by Google and the new account does not. It takes time for Google to index my new posts using the new platform.

I made good connections through that site. Some of them are from U.S.A. and Sri Lanka but they are no longer active because of their unpaid claims.

I do miss them because they are my active connections.

I shared my bubble posts on Facebook because earning from views is great but after the recent changes made, earnings is no longer the same

I was about to receive my first $50 payment through Paypal but I have to wait for sixty days.

A bubble post of mine was deleted because I indicated how much I am earning from other websites which is against their Terms of Service.

What I like about them is that their staff is interacting with some members and creating their own bubble posts. I also have some friends who already got their pending payments from them. Within sixty days, I might receive my first payment from them.

Update as of December 29, 2014

It's more than 60 days and I did not receive my first and only payment. After reading an upset post from a fellow Filipino, I have decided to delete all my posts on that site. I felt that my effort was wasted. I've been an honest member of that site.

The problem with that site is their means of communication between them and their members.

My Conclusion and Own Opinion

The Chief Executive Officer of Bubbllews made a post about their inability to pay claims of all their members due to their mismanagement. Claims made prior to November 11, 2014 will no longer be processed (this applies to all of their members).

They were not able to monitor the money coming in (from their Advertisers) and money coming out (payments to their members). They also have issues like bots and spams after they introduced the new platform.

I was able to make friends from different parts of the world by using their platform. If they are upset with the current status of their site right now, their members are upset also because of their unpaid claims. Not all of those members had been a violator of their site.

Due to those changes that happened, new writing sites emerged like the following:

SeraphicInsights.com

BlogJob.com

Whzon.com

Bubblews is still operating until now despite of the problems they encountered with their previous members and issues with Better Business Bureau (BBB rated them "F").

There are lots of changes and improvements on their site as of Aug. 21, 2015. I think there is no more issue with the payments with their current members.

"Let us all come together again and make the future brighter than our past was."

— Arvind Dixit

My Recommendations

Since there is no written contract that binds between Bubblews and their members regarding payment agreement, there is no assurance if you will get your payment. There is no stability when it comes to redeeming.

If you love to write online, I would recommend that you write here on HubPages or create your own blog or website.

If you are earning from Bubblews, good for you, enjoy the fruits of your labor. But there is no guarantee for future earnings. Their rules are always changing with poor communication between the member and the staff.
