HTC Wildfire S And The LG Optimus Slider Join Virgin Mobile USA

Updated on October 27, 2011

HTC Sense Come To Virgin Mobile This October

Within the next few days, Virgin Mobile's partner retail stores will debut the HTC Wildfire S Android.

This will come with a killer 5 megapixel camera and the special HTC Sense overlay for the launcher, widgets, and functionality.

Android 2.3 and the latest bluetooth 3.0 standard will be installed right out of the box. The initial price point will be only $199.

An really positive advantage the HTC Wildfire S has is that it already exists for T-Mobile.

There are many reviews of the phone already, lots and lots of accessories, and hands-on video available with just a few clicks.

The Motorola Triumph, Virgin Mobile's most recent addition to their Android line-up, had no accessories at launch.

It was several weeks before there were even cases made available for the Motorola Triumph.

This is not going to be a problem with the HTC Wildfire S.

So, get ready for a "wild" ride!

When Can You Buy It?

  • October 23rd - Best Buy and Radioshack
  • Additional releases are not yet disclosed.

LG Optimus Slider Brings A Slide-Out Keyboard to the LG OV

One of the most popular phones in the country is the Virgin Mobile LG Optimus V.

This is for good reason! It is a super solid phone, and it is inexpensive.

Virgin Mobile will use the LG Optimus Slider to bring a solid Android phone to their lineup that has all the latest specs and a slide-out keyboard.

It will come with Android 2.3 and Bluetooth 3.0 like its release buddy, the HTC Wildfire S.

It will also debut at the same price of $199.

The Samsung Intercept, Virgin Mobile's first Android, is not that popular and the specs are far inferior to the LG Optimus V's.

The Samsung Intercept's one advantage is that it has a slide-out keyboard --- The LG Optimus Slider will be an excellent replacement!

When Can You Buy It?

  • October 17th - Virgin Mobile USA Website
  • October 31st - Best Buy and Radioshack
