Free iPhone Games

Earlier I was talking about the transfer of an already bought game to the iPhone. Now, as you already know how to transfer games from your computer into your iPhone I'm going to add a little bonus tip by telling you that it is indeed possible to get free iPhone games legally.

Us gamers need a constant supply of new tittles to avoid getting bored, and we are passionate for games so we need to constantly add new ones to our portfolio. This is where the free titles, named "freeware games" enter. There is no budget that supports buying every game you want. And premium games are premium games - you have got to pay for them. However, "freeware" games are abundant, as new programmers and game designers need to build their fan base.

So, junior programmers and game designers use freeware games to boost their popularity and you can get them for free from their sites. You better take advantage of this fact. Just google "freeware iPhone games" or something like that and you are of to a good start.

Final Note: Why iPhone gaming?

iPhone gaming is getting to be a big thing and it turns small games that wouldn't get far on other platforms to be huge blockbusters. Doubt that? Check out the Angry Birds example!

But why is it so popular?

Well, you always have your iPhone with you... waiting for a doctor's appointment? Play iPhone! On a bar with a friend and waiting for the rest of the people? Play iPhone with him!..... and we all know that, while we don't like to admit it, we like to show games around because they show off the functions of the device - the quality of the touchscreen, the colors of the graphics, the possibility of interactivity, and much more...

Plus, handheld gaming is a casual style of gaming that appeals to both hardcore gamers as well as those less serious game adepts or even total "gaming illiterates".
