What if a company other than Apple had made the first iPhone?
What if another company had made the first proper smartphone, like Samsung or Motorola? Do you think that company would have as been as successful as Apple has become?
Nope.
Apple is a brand and they always take things further then anyone.
They are not only a product manufacturer but a status symbol.
Everyone wants the latest Iphone or Ipad.
Nobody cares about other brand tablets.
Apple are the ONLY company in the world that is right across the technology manufacturing board.
They range from computers, laptops, tablets, smart phones etc......They do everything. They have placed themselves all across the market and have given them self the best chance to succeed. They are market leaders, and other manufacturers copy them. Nobody would ever top Apple.
Except maybe Banana.
I don't think it would have come close to the success the Apple iPhone has achieved. As stated, Apple is a brand and they bring so much more to the table than just the simple phone. It's a complete pakage with the entire Apple integration with ios, Macs, music store, iCloud, and probably the biggest thing, the Innovation and future product releases that will come to the iPhone based on what they have in the pipeline!!
Just look at some of the biggest iPhone competitor devices currently on the market. There are some really great devices out there from the likes of Samsung and HTC, two great companies in themselves. Some are considered even better than the iPhone. But none of their devices have achieved the success and fame as the iPhone. What's missing? APPLE!!

When I picked up my iPhone over the weekend, I had an epiphany. I was using the LinkedIn app to confirm an invitation to connect, and it hit me: This is the future of mobile computing, the mobile web the mobile experience.
