I never do. I try and avoid promoting on social media/bookmarking sites due to the fact that better paying and longer lasting traffic comes from Google. And if I did promote on them, G+ would be the last place I would... statistics indicate that only a small percentage of members are regularly active.
The only place I'd use to promote my hubs is Pinterest, and even then only a small percentage of pins are from me - most are from my visitors.
