Kenya was once known as a beacon of peace until 2007 election were disputed, people of Kenya have been enjoying relative peaceful environment, and Kenya is known for its being one of the largest refuge settlers in Africa.

Kenya has got forty two tribes with the major population coming from the following tribes Kikuyu – Bantus, Luyhia – Bantus, Luos – Nilotics, Kalenjins – Nilotics, Maasai – Nilotics, Kissi – Bantus

Towns

The majoy towns in Kenya are Nairobi – Nairobi is the capital city of Kenya and the largest city in Kenya

Mombasa – Is the second largest city in Kenya found at the coast bordering India Ocean, attracts the largest number of tourists worldwide. It is the place to go when visiting Kenya, with so many beaches you will enjoy every moment , Mombasa Is always hot and temperature ranges a from 35 and above

Kisumu – is the third largest city found on the western belt of Kenya and at the shore of Lake Victoria, Kisumu interconnect all the eastern Africa countries namely Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Democratic Republic of Congo, Kisumu is normally very hot and the temperatures ranges 30 and above, the major activity in Kisumu is fishing from Lake Victoria which earns the Kenyan economy good money

Nakuru – Is the fourth largest town in Kenya after Kisumu, Nakuru is known for its flamingo birds which normally attract many people during breeding periods of flamingo, flamingo do flock Lake Nakuru to breed. Nakuru is one of the coldest town in Kenya and its about 200km from the capital city of Kenya

Naivasha - is also one town found in Kenya with the largest growing flower which is normally exported to other countries, Naivasha also have a salty water lake called Lake Naivasha

Kericho – one of the coldest town in Kenya and normally produces the largest finest tea in Africa which is normally export to UK, US Pakistan and many other countries, Those are the major towns to visit in Kenya, but there are other towns

LensMan999, Kenya right now is under coalition government which resulted after the disputed election result, and the ruling parties are ODM and PNU
