"A Chain of Emerald in Equator Zone" that's a metaphor people often use to describe Indonesia due to its emerald-greenish look seen from the sky which is actually hue of tropical rain forest blanketting the country. God almighty has created this country in south east asia region which consists of around 17500,beautiful, fertile islands where more than 200 million people with diversified cultures, ethnics, languages, and religions live.
Indonesia possesses various potentials which are needed as power for its development. Those potentials include not only its natural resources and human resources, but also huge potentials in its nature beauty.
Beautiful places are always found all around the world, every country has its attractive spots, and so does Indonesia. Indonesia has a lot of breathtaking places offering typical beauty which are combination of its lanscape beauty and local culture. B a l i : A Paradise with Thousand Temples.
This is another amazing tourist destination in Indonesia. Bali is an island with strong magnet that people,of local and international origin, want to visit, and visit again and again after their first visit. There are some reasons why that happens. First, Bali has got international acknowledgement for the best tourist destination in the world, visitors will enjoy beautiful, natural views as well as continual local cultural events. People coming to Bali will feel at home caused by warm and friendly local people's acceptance, and are welcome to take part in some cultural events too.

Another conspicuous sight that you can see in Bali is the temples or in Indonesian or Balinese called Pura, which means "A Place Surrounded by Walls") . Balinese mostly adhere to Balinese Hinduism, to carry out daily religious activities they normally have a small temple at their house, and they'll go to bigger temples around their dwelling places for communal prayers or other religious ceremonies.

Kelimutu Volcanic Lakes.
This is another national treasure of the people of Indonesia. Kelimutu Volcanic Lakes are located at summit of Kelimutu mountain on Flores island, central Indonesia.. Although the three lakes are located at the same mountain and adjacent to one another, but they have different colors caused by different characters of each lake.
Tiwu Ata Mbupu (Lake of Old People): Colors blue due to its acid sulfate content.
Tiwu Nua Muri Kooh Tai (Lake of Young Men and Women): Colors green due to its sulfur compounds and copper-rich minerals.
Tiwu Ata Polo (Enchanted lake): Colors red caused by fumarolic and hydrothermal activities.
Pink Beach, Lombok.
Lombok is blessed with endless natural beauty although the potentials are not fully developed yet. Lombok is one island located din central Indonesia which can be visited either by plane from Jakarta, Bali, Surabaya, direct flights from Singapore, Malaysia, or on land by car/bus. The flight from Jakarta takes 1 hour 45 minutes and overland journey will surely take longer time, around 40 hours.
Pink beach in Lombok is like a hidden treasure since not all people, even among Lomboknese, know the beach.
Pink beach can reached from Mataram, the capital city of West Nusa Tenggara province (another name of Lombok) in 2 hours. The beach is located at a small village in the eastern part of the island called Sekaroh village at Jerowaru subdistrict, East Nusa Tenggara.
The pink hue which makes the beach has attractive color is the deposits of crushed sea shells and porifera organisms or commonly known as sponges.
