Is this the British Virgin Islands or the US Virgin Islands?
I don't know if it's still in existance, but in St Thomas (the USVI) there was a cable car ride that was really enjoyable. in St Croix there are really nice shops and restaurants, especially around Christiansted. (my favourite is a family one called Breezez!) And in St. John, there is this camping site called Cinnamon Bay that is set up with tents and campfire pits and everything. It's right by a beach, and there was kayaking and other water sports. There is also a little shop and a nice restaurant, so it's not completely out in the bush :)
Hope this helped! I've visited the USVI a couple times and I've enjoyed every trip.
