Joined 15 years ago from California USA
Born in England in 1961, I grew up in the county of Cheshire. I left school in 1979 and attended a college of further education until 1982. From there I went on to open my own business also working for a property development company.
In 2000 I went to work for Tesco. Where I worked for almost six years. I married in 2004 and in the Spring of 2006 I emigrated to the US becoming a citizen in December 2010.
Upon coming to the United States, I took the opportunity of going back to school, full time, mostly online, while working part-time. I gained an AA Degree in Social Science at my local Community College. I then enrolled with Columbia College, Missouri, online, graduating in Spring 2011 with a BA degree in History with a minor in Political Science.
Since completing my studies I have taken to writing on Hubpages for fun, reducing the withdrawl symptoms from my long hours in study on the computer.
.
I enjoy writing about history of all periods, personal finance, business and online business, disability. I have been registered as blind/visually impaired since July 2010.
I am currently studying for a Master's Degree in History with National University, California. I plan to complete the degree in early February 2013. Then possibly change my career and go into teaching History at College or University level.
It would be nice if someone in passing could say, "If he can do this. So can I."

On October 26, 1881 in the town of Tombstone Arizona. Perhaps one of the most iconic events of the Wild West took place. The Gunfight at the OK Coral. But the gight didn't really take place at the Coral but at an empty lot a few blocks away. Myth or reality it is a story made heroic by the West...
