I am a writer specialising in international affairs, geopolitics, history and culture. I am broadly interested in the ongoing changes currently occuring in the culture, economy and political landscape of the West and how these relate to broader issues in political philosophy. I feel that, whilst there are many writers focusing on the day-to-day happenings in various parts of the world the number of people seriously analysing the more fundamental and long-reaching transformations are a lot lower - and are usually approaching things from a certain partisan (liberal) point of view.
I approach things, conversely, from a standpoint which sees the development of the modern 'globalised' word as an anomaly which, ultimately, cannot be salvaged and I believe that the best way to salvage what we can from the coming collapse - and build something better for the future - is to reexamine our basic assumptions about History, philosophy and human nature itself. I hope my articles will contribute, in some small way, to this vital process.
