I've been a small animal veterinarian for 15 years and an animal fanatic for as long as I can remember. I specialise in canine and feline internal medicine and I am part owner of a small animal hospital in Ireland.

My young family keeps me busy outside of work, our rual lifestyle allows us to maintain a vegetable garden and an ever-growing flock of hens. I've been an occasional marathon runner for the past 8 years. In my spare time I can be found along the highways and byways either on foot or in the saddle. I'm afraid I still find swimming something to be endured rather than enjoyed...
