Recently, flight crews earned praise for their cool response to serious aircraft emergencies. However, such praise was not given to the flight crews on 9/11/2001. Most people are unaware of the heroics of the crews on that day, which saved thousands of lives by averting other potential hijackings
Because many 9-11 families were dissatisfied by the information presented in the open 9-11 hearings, the FBI offered to give a special presentation to the families. The results were not well received and some of the information revealed concerning internal airline actions was most upsetting.
