Greetings to all my fellow hubbers (and also to those who are not, in fact, a much bigger one to them!)
Firstly, here is a very short bio of mine --
Past: An ex-Hubber
Present: Production editor @ SAGE Publications (New Delhi)
Future: An Author
As you can see above, this is not my first innings on Hubpages. I had started an account a couple of years back (2011) with some fiction stuff (short stories, poems, etc) but couldn't continue further as I went on the other side of the industry, ie., the one on the editor's side.
For the curious minded, here is the link to my previous profile:
This is the sole reason why there is a '-' in my name, this time!!
Yes, currently I am a Production editor at SAGE Publications and independently handle the production of 15 UK-based journals.
Again, for the curious minded, a list is given below -

Business Information Review (bir.sagepub.com)
Clinical Child Psychology and Psychiatry (ccp.sagepub.com)

My current stint as a Production Editor brings me in contact with authors (and their works) from diverse fields and far-off lands. An addition to my skill-set is made everytime I sift through the pages of these extremely hard-working authors. These journals bring together with them an equally exciting set of journal editors, some of them who are stalwarts in their area of study (I won't take names here, sorry!).
Now something away from my work.....
Writing is something which I have been doing passively since my school days. It came into an active mode in 2012 when I participated in the National Debut Youth Fiction Award 2013. Amazingly, I managed to turn around 2 full fledged manuscripts in a space of 8 months and that too, just by working on weekends (as 5 days are taken by my Editor's role)!
As luck would have it, one of them went till the finals and won the prize in the 'Unpublished fiction' category. It was 'Letters from Heaven'. But there has been a lull ever since, which has prompted me to come back on Hubpages as this is the best place where I can continue my writing and my interaction with potential authors and loyal readers.
Though my previous Hubpages profile was mostly based on fiction pieces, I would like to discuss and talk about some non-fiction stuff this time (as reality is what keeps me grounded).
Enough of advertisments and self-praises....Let's meet at the Hubs!!!
