Well-schooled, but learned more from doing. Two Master's degrees and twenty careers that didn't use either of them.
My interest is mainly in history, names, socially progressive politics, film, language change, semantics and comedy. I have had many different careers, with professional experience as a writer, editor, barber, graphic designer, waiter, server, government functionary, comedian and actor. I've sold knives, coffee, computers, medical equipment, women's shoes, and condoms on the street (though not at the same time). At one point for some reason I taught rock climbing. I bring this up, because I am not good at rock climbing. But I was good at knowing the safety rules, which is the most important part. My top rock climbing safety suggestion? Stay on the ground.
