John Janssen played college basketball at Grand Canyon University where he earned All-Conference honors as a senior. He then played professionally overseas and in the ABA here in the states. John spent three years coaching high school basketball at Huntington Beach High School and Club basketball with OC Pride. John then moved to the college level where he spent two year at the University of Redlands where he helped bring them their first league title in over 20 years and their first NCAA Tournament appearance in over 25 years. He then coached at Cal Baptist University, Concordia University Ann Arbor and Chapman University. Janssen helped Chapman win their first ever SCIAC championship. John is currently the head men's basketball coach at Bristol University in Anaheim.
