Also follow me on:

After spending many years in various ventures from restaurant management to IT, technical support and building custom computer hardware, I have finally returned to my first love, writing.

I wrote my first short story, about a magical pair of shoes, at the age of 9 and have been working on it as a hobby ever since, though I've only recently starting writing professionally.

I'm new to non-fiction writing, but I'm very excited to get it started and see what kind of informative and educational articles I can add to the community.

I've been writing poetry for about 8 years and have a massive collection. My first publication, Imprisonment, is comprised mostly of what I consider to be some of my best work, though, due to the theme of this compilation, I was unfortunately forced to cut many of my best poems. They simply wouldn't have gone well with the rest of the subject matter. Although, I do fully intend to issue a more complete poetry publication at some point in the future.

I am currently writing a series (expected to span 12 or 13 volumes) of short fantasy stories collectively called "The Calamity," beginning with "The Coming of The Calamity," which I'm expecting should be published by early to mid fall of this year.
The idea for the world of Val-Harra and the Calamity series quite literally just dropped in my lap while I was working out some ideas for a fantasy roleplaying game that I was designing, and it just took off from there. I started planning the project in early 2012 and have been spending nearly every spare minute I have working on the stories since then.

I am also working on a novel series about the biblical end of days, the first two novels are written in rough draft and just waiting to be revised, but that project is on the back burner until I get at least the first few stories of The Calamity finished. This series is expected to be 3 or 4 full length novels, and the first volume, tentatively titled "The Revelation," I'm expecting to have published by early to mid 2015.
