I am female, British and older than I want to admit to. I am interested in lots of things, and my magpie mind does not lend itself easily to the idea of having a specific niche to make my own. Maybe I'll find myself writing on the same topics over and over and surprise myself. I guess I'm here to improve both my writing and my thinking, to get into a habit of writing and to get some feedback.
I enjoy reading quality hubs by so many people. The interactive Hubpages community is great and you get an incredible exchange of ideas, something you could never get from a print publication, at least not so quickly and easily.
I used to work in education, creating courses and lecturing. I left teaching for ethical reasons. Maybe one day I'll write a hub about that. I ended up working for a lawyer - that's a whole other story.
