It's 2016, which is almost unbelievable. I'm still hoping that 12/21/2012 is possible, i.e. the end of the world, but not exactly tragic. Something more beautiful. I keep wondering when the magic will appear and take me away from all of this nonsense and dramas and onto a real existence.
There's a small device in my house that looks to be Star Trekish in its origin. I wonder if it might become a real transporter (or maybe already is and I haven't figured out how to use it), and I will be able to whisper into it something to the affect of "Beam me up Scottie." And then another adventure in outer space would begin. Onwards and upwards!
