Hello and welcome to the amazing world of a father of 3 who has now become a stay at home dad!! Anyway,I am 28 years of age and I live in N.C. with my wife and three children. I grew up in Brooklyn, New York and I moved to N.C when I was 13. I started writing when I was 8, and I have loved it ever since. In high school I wrote three short stories and that is when my love for writing started to really take off.
I feel that you can convey on paper what you can sometimes not say to others. Writing gives me a sense of freedom that I would not otherwise have and I love freedom! I deep down, love this great nation that gives us choices that we would not have anywhere else in the world. While I do not like the way our country is headed, I do love what our country was founded on, and that is what makes me fight for this nation.
I also believe in God, I am non denominational, I don't believe in having to choose between a religious denomination, I am just a plain old Christian!
I also want to state here with the upcoming election and our situation with illegal's. This is how I feel about the subject.
I am so tired of people saying, "we are all immigrants". Yes, and do you know how my great great grandparents got here? Through Ellis Island, the LEGAL way. I don't care if your an immigrant or not. What I do care about is if you are here LEGALLY or not, period.
This is a slap in the face to my ancestors, as well as all the other people who have come here the legal way, the right way.
Why don't you try sneaking into Mexico and see what happens? Try to buy land there and see what happens, or some other country in South America and see where that leads.
I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. Also, don't say something to me that you would not want said to you. It's called common decency, and I live by it. Now, if I say something to you that is right on the mark, than don't cry about it.

This can't be real, this is not real. Was all I kept telling myself as I ran outside to see what all the commotion was about. What I was seeing was so surreal that I thought I would pass out any moment. Coming out of the woods near the old green...

When I finally made it to school, I felt a little bit relieved that I had made it in one piece. I just kept telling myself that things would get better as walked down the halls. The gym was abuzz with the news stories from last night as well as the...

It all started on the first day of school. I was coming back from lunch when out of the corner of my eye I saw a girl running out of the woods near our green-house building. As she was getting closer I saw how her long blond hair was streaked with...
