Greetings, my name is Susan Guinn. I am a parent and a Chiari Malformation survivor. I understand what it means to face adversity. I also know that hard times can be overcome with the right support. It gives me great personal satisfaction to know that I am helping people navigate through hard times to a brighter future.

I am writing to try and make a difference: I write for those who believe the world needs more people avidly pursuing their passions. My first passion of writing was a short story in high school. I was the child who loved to write Impressive book reports and essays, and it is helping me to pave the way for a career as a writer. I have spent endless hours creating stationary, designing photo pages for photo albums, creating cards to designing memorial pages for friends and family, and more. I graduated from Vestal, NY and have an Associate’s degree in Psychology, Child Psychology and Biblical Studies.

I was born and raised in New York State, and I reside in Florida with my husband Randall, and son James. In my spare time I love the Florida beaches. The ocean is calming, serene and peaceful. The sounds of the birds at play along the shoreline, and the children building sand castles. Watching the waves cascade over the rocks can be very mesmerizing. We have a favorite spot watching the dolphins interact with such personal and social bonding. I also love gardening, crafts of many varieties, sewing & embrodery, aerobics, bird watching, Hiking and taking in the scenes of the seasons, the sky is thelimit!

    Sweet Christmas bonbons

This is a tradition in my family made at Christmas. Dark chocolate covered bon bons, made with many variations. In America we relate them to Truffles.
