I'm an artist/writer in the deep south, who has been writing and creating forever. Some pastimes are researching, painting, and late night coffee drinking. Interests include uncovering ancient knowledge, philosophy, the supernatural, the metaphysical, and a good political debate from time to time to fuel the fire.
I'm sure I could write about anything; seriously, I can, and pretty much have. But nothing makes me happier than this wonderful place called Hubpages that allows me to speak my mind and say things that nobody really wants to hear outside the "Hubasphere." Yep. I totally said it.
I've been full-time freelancing for over 2 years now. The beginning was very experimental and a bit uncertain, since I taught myself virtually everything I know. There have been many ups and downs, but I've gained more from this venture than I ever guessed I would and continue to grow and learn: It never ends! (Nor would I want it to.) :)
I'm sure my fellow freelancers can identify, and to those just getting started, you will too! Self-employment is an addiction.
