Born in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia in a small town, raised in the suburbs of Detroit, where I learned early on to cheer for the Tigers and pray for the Lions. I have also lived in the shadow of the snow capped mountains of Washington and the graffiti plagued, and smog smothered southern California. Currently I live in the tar foot nation of North Carolina. My life wasn’t complete until I met Henry Winkler by accident as we both tried to board an escalator at the same time. Naturally I let “the Fonz” go first. Ever since then I have been plagued by the question, "If it had been Anson Williams, aka Potsie, would I have let him go first?"
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, I was a Huron, not an Eagle. My real education came from television.
