Paul also went deeper into the effects of this update on HubPages in a recent interview with CNBC.

We know many Hubbers have been adversely affected by this latest algorithm update, and we want you to know that we're working tirelessly to improve the quality of HubPages and get into Google's good graces. Thanks for hanging on for the ride with us. We'll get through it! :)

Google's Comments on The Latest Update

Google has said from the beginning that the latest update was not Panda-related, but this week they have officially confirmed that the traffic changes we are seeing are the product of an update to the way the quality of content is assessed. Multiple experts have recommended Google's guide to creating valuable content, as a useful tool for improving quality, and we think it's a great guide for Hubbers to keep in mind when creating new content as well.
