Have you tried Hub Groups?

Using Hub Groups

A Lesser-Known HubPages Feature

Some experienced Hubbers are already familiar with Hub Groups, but for many more, I suspect this feature is relatively unknown, and potentially very useful! The Hub Groups feature allows you to group similar Hubs together for easy sorting, and easier reader navigation. By grouping closely-related Hubs together under the same theme, you'll ensure that other Hubs in that group show up for your readers at the bottom of the Hub. Here are a few tips for Hubbers using Hub Groups for the first time:

  • Only group Hubs that are closely related to one another or belong in the same niche. Your Hubs about how to fix a computer probably all belong together in the same Group, but your Hub about fixing a refrigerator does not belong there.
  • Use Hub Groups instead of linking to other Hubs in the body of the Hub. Hub Groups are a good way to indicate to your readers that you have written other related Hubs on the same subject. We highly recommend putting all of your Hubs into Hub Groups rather than adding links to related Hubs inside the body of your Hub text.
  • Use Groups to group Hubs that are part of a series or chapters from a fiction project. Hub Groups are a great way to keep all of your series Hubs together in the correct order so that your readers can press "PREVIOUS" or "NEXT" to browse the other Hubs in the group.

Check out the Learning Center guide for instructions on how to create Hub Groups. Happy Hubbing! :)

HubPages Profile Map Easter Egg

If you are one of the few and the proud who have been with HubPages since the early days, you might remember a fun little profile Easter egg, the HubPages Profile Map. But for most Hubbers, I suspect this will come as a fun little surprise. The Profile Map uses your profile image to create a visual map of the most common words, phrases, and topics you use in your writing. To see your own Map, simply type: http://hubpages.com/profile/User+Name/map (replacing "User+Name" with your own username, of course).

For usernames with spaces, you will need to use a "+" to indicate where the space should go. For usernames that are all one word, type: http://hubpages.com/profile/username/map instead, also replacing "username" with your own username. Pretty neat, huh?
