Why not continue learning online?

Free Online Courses to Up Your Writing Game

It's Never Too Late to Keep Learning

Recently I've stumbled across a couple online courses that I think might be great resources for Hubbers interested in continued development and improvement as writers. It's never too late to keep learning, and since these workshops are completely free, there's nothing to lose. If you have a bit of free time this fall, I recommend checking them out:

University of Michigan's open.michigan Principles of Research and Problem Solving course. This class is an intro to research writing that may prove useful for writers of scientific, health, and other types of informational writing. The syllabus and all recommended reading items are available for free self-study.

Open2Study's Writing for the Web course. This class teaches the basics of online writing (as opposed to print writing) and offers tips on structure, content maintenance, and other aspects of being a successful online writer.

Purdue University's OWL (Online Writing Lab). All resources and exercises are freely available and easily accessible including spelling and grammar exercises, tips on eliminating writer's block, and much more.

Just a quick reminder: the HubPages Terms of Use have been updated this week. To recap, the update will only affect Hubbers who run AdSense only (Hubbers who are not in the HubPages Ad Program).
