EditBot Improvements
EditBot is Now Simpler and More Intuitive
I'm pleased to bring you an update on
EditBot this week. We've listened to your feedback and made a few changes that should improve the functionality and ease of use for this feature. Here's an overview of what's new:
- There are now two EditBot icons, a black one and a white one. The white EditBot icon refers to corrections applied within the Hub, while the black icon indicates corrections made only in the Hub's comments.
- Both icons will disappear from your My Account page once the Hubs have been reviewed. We consider corrections to have been reviewed after the "show x corrections" button has been clicked.
- New EditBot corrections will now be highlighted in orange while previous corrections will be highlighted in grey to enable you to easily determine which edits you have already reviewed.
- This part is a work in progress, but we will do our best to turn off the most common edits that change other English spellings to American English. It won't be a perfect fix at first, but over time we will be able to manually turn off more of these types of corrections as they come up.

Help Us Improve EditBot
We really appreciate your help with improving EditBot's functionality and accuracy. Here's what you can do:
- When you review the EditBot corrections, be sure to uncheck the box next to any corrections made in error. We will be able to use the data on the most commonly reverted changes in order to turn off those changes for future EditBot runs.
- If you specifically see any edits where EditBot changes other types of standard English into American English (colour -> color, centre -> center, etc), please
email Marina with examples so that she can manually turn off those corrections in future EditBot runs.

This easy recipe uses one ripe avocado, a tomato, a boiled egg and a bit of pickle relish. Top this with some chopped pecans, a spoonful of lemon juice and salad dressing and it's ready to eat.
