Some Of the New and Some Of the Same

Happy Wednesday!

Disclaimers of the Week

As promised, here is your scheduled disclaimer announcement: This week, Caloriebee and HealthProAdvice are the Network Sites to be introduced to the feature. Who’s it going to be next week? Stay tuned to find out. (The suspense is unbearable.)

Get Some Peace and Quiet

Now you can turn off Article Q&A on individual articles, while still maintaining the ability to turn it off completely. This is a great way to filter the volume and topic of inquiries, so you can concentrate on putting that pen to paper! The default setting for Article Q&A is “On.” If you would like to turn this feature off on a specific article, simply go to “Display Options” on the right-hand side of the HubTool and select “Off.” Then, click “Save.” Ahh, much better.

(Note: that this option will not appear on articles where Article Q&A is not yet enabled.)

Pro Tips

What Are the HubPages Forums for? Are There Any Rules?

The Forums allow the community to complement each individual Hubber’s talents and interests. We hope they provide a living and growing repository for shared wisdom, mutual support and inspiration. The guidelines outlined below exist to promote this sharing community and give everyone the space to voice their opinions and ask questions.

Stick to the Topic: Please stay on the thread’s topic when replying to an existing thread. If you don’t see an open thread about something you’d like to discuss, please open a new thread.

Respect: Please maintain respect for other Hubbers, even if you don’t necessarily agree with them. Keep your language clean and don’t make personal attacks. By choosing to be civil, you make the discussion better for everyone involved.

Be Helpful and Supportive: We’re all here to learn, so please be constructive when providing feedback. Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other Hubbers is against our Terms of Use.

Spread the Word: Encourage Hubbers seeking help to visit the Forum to discuss.

Fresh Faces of HubPages

No Gripe for This Grape

Here's a fresh new face to keep an eye out for:

@disastrousgrape maybe a fresh face, but this grape is anything but disastrous. Their writing covers a great variety of topics, mainly in the fields of film and game analysis. With articles ranging from a comparison between Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy X, or an exposition of the cold, hard truth that Interview with the Vampire was actually a terrifying interpretation of domestic life, there is something for every screen lover to enjoy.

The views and opinions expressed in this interview
do not necessarily reflect those of HubPages.
