Grammar Across the Pond

In our style guide, we try to be both inclusive and mindful of our international community. British spelling (e.g., “colour”) is totally ok. The same can be said in regards to punctuation (e.g., leaving punctuation outside of quotes, or using single quotation marks). “That” and “which” may also be used interchangeably for restrictive relative clauses (e.g., "He raised the finger that was hurt" or "He raised the finger which was hurt"). Our editors will catch on pretty quick to your style as long as you choose one and stick with it.

Gamer Dad

Despite being a full-time dad and career man, this author still has time to review the latest or greatest games. Despite being a little late to the party, his article on Red Dead Redemption 2 unearths the gems that would otherwise be missed during a rushed playthrough. And although shooting up bandits in Red Dead can be a blast, for a dad, self-care is also extremely important. So when he writes about Stardew Valley's therapeutic qualities, I, of course, believe his testimony. For you non-gamers, he has tons of personal experience in a variety of subjects, so not all of his articles are about gaming. No matter what your interest, this is definitely an author worth checking out!
