If adopting a healthier lifestyle is on your list of resolutions this year, this one’s for you! CalorieBee is the perfect place to fuel your fitness passions, whether you’re looking for new ways to adopt an active way of life or you want to share your own strategies with the world.

CalorieBee is full of fitness routines (like this article on at-home cardio), diet reviews (see Keto 101), and food-specific nutrition facts ( Are Graham Crackers Healthy?), but it doesn't stop there! You'll also find information about certain vitamins, reviews of collagen and protein powders, and discussions on the psychology behind pursuing better health.

Read on to learn more about CalorieBee's editorial policy, and, as always, happy writing!

CalorieBee Editorial Policy

As with all network sites, articles are only accepted on CalorieBee if they comply with the HubPages editorial policy. Because CalorieBee is a YMYL ( Your Money or Your Life) site, proving credibility and authority is especially important. Our goal is to spread true and helpful information that can benefit the lives of our readers, so we don't want to share spammy, unhealthy, or unresearched content.

When Writing YMYL Content on CalorieBee...

  • Show Your Skills: If you have expertise, talk about it! A simple paragraph about the professional experience you have with your subject can be enough to boost your authority.
  • Describe Personal Experience: The internet is already full of spammy “get slim fast” content, so don’t write about a diet you haven’t tried (unless you’re a dietitian or nutrition expert). The same goes for workout and supplement reviews!
  • Cite Your Sources: Any medical claims must be supported by credible sources. We want to know you've done your research, so show it off!

What Our Editors Love to See

  • Original Images: Share progress pictures, a snapshot of the ingredients for your homemade protein smoothie, or a step-by-step photo guide for two-handed chest pulls. Original images add a personal touch that might be harder to find elsewhere online.
  • Facts and Figures: The more data you can provide about your topic, the better. Our editing team loves to see tables that reflect routines, nutrition facts, meal tracking, and anything else that shows quantitative information.
  • Relevant Videos: Sometimes, a video can be the clearest way to explain the specifics of a workout. If you don't want to include a video of yourself performing an exercise in your article, look on YouTube to find an example of someone else doing the move. This can help visual learners get an even deeper understanding of the instructions you're providing!
  • Unique Info: Maybe you had a strange experience with a juice cleanse, or perhaps you've found a way to exercise while sitting at your desk (maybe even while you're writing articles!). If this is the case, tell us about it! We see a lot of similar weight-loss, healthy-eating, and muscle-building content, so if you have something a little fun, a little quirky, or a little oddly specific, we'd be delighted to see it.
