If you feel that you will not be able to take good care of your pet, don’t get one. Because brining a pet home and then abandoning it is really cruel that people often do with these pets when they find themselves unable to look after them properly. Because brining a pet home and then abandoning it is really cruel that people often do with these pets when they find themselves unable to look after them properly. Before one decides to get a pet, he should make up his mind for the love of animals and pets generally.

When you get a kitten as your pet you need to know many things in advance and in detail so as to be able to take proper care of your cat’s needs.

Tips For Taking Care Of Kittens

Growth Of Kittens

When kittens are new born, you will find them like helpless creatures, they would be needing attention and love from you. Kittens grow very quickly. They grow fastest in the first six weeks of their lives. You will feel them grown up every 2 or 3 days. This is very crucial time in the life of cats and very carefully administered time for the owners too. You need to take care of few things at this stage of a cat’s life cycle.

Food

You need to take a lot care of your kitten’s meals while it is growing. You can give them dog food at all. Be very careful with this because giving them dog food can result in sickness or vomits. And at this young age it is really very destructive for kittens to have vomits because that may bring their life to stake.

Do not try to feed your cat with whatever you are having in your meal or any scrap of the table. You can’t even make your cats have food like canned fishes, liver, canned tuna or any canned fish at this age; that are meant for humans.

You need to take a very proper care of them; you’ll have to provide them with their milk and their special food so that they may grow into good cats.

Socializing

Make it compulsory for you and others in your home to socialize with your kitten in some part of day time. This is the most important part of your kitten’s care. You should play with them; talk to them and cuddle them. Handle your pet kitten properly while socializing with it and this is going to bring in positive aspects in your kitten and eventually it will grow into properly socialized cat.

Limitations

Pet care involves so many other things than these too, like, you should be well aware that what you should allow to your kitten pet and what should not be allowed.

Like, do not allow your pet to play with your feet or fingers because during that they may scratch you and this will become their habit to scratch and bite which is bad. This will not only hurt you but other people too at your home or anyone visiting you. You should make your kitten play with toys and they will get habitual to that.

Toys To Play

You would need to get some toys for your kitten to play with. In fact sometimes you don’t even need to buy one for them, you can get any thing from home lying around, that your kitten would find loveable to play with. This toy for your kitten may be a straw or a ball or even shoulder padding. Just put those in front of them and see the fun. But e careful never let your kitten play with curling ribbons or loose strings because that may cause cat hairball.

Hope you would have got enough information about as to how you can take care of your kitten pet and how they can be brought up well. Train them well and you will find them as most neat and disciplined animals.
