What I've Learned From My Dogs
As a dedicated dog lover, I spend a lot of time with my dogs and in return I have been rewarded with unwavering devotion and love. My dogs are a big part of my life, they make me laugh every day.
I'm not sure how much I've taught them, but they have taught me many things over the years. They may not be able to speak our language, but they definitely know how to communicate. We can learn a lot from our dogs if we pay attention. Here are some examples:
Share – We all have to share sometimes.
Get Dirty – Don't be afraid to cut lose and play in the mud!
But there are always consequences...
Explore – Get out and explore....take a walk sometime
There's nothing like a good nap –Finding time for a much needed nap can be a great way to unwind.
Question authority – Sometimes you just have to find out for yourself.
Be yourself – We all have our quirks.
Loyalty – Be loyal to those you love.
Smile - It never hurts to smile....try it sometime.
Be Fearless – Many of us worry so much about what others may think....my dogs do not!
Be a good sport - Sure, you may not be thrilled about it, but you do it anyway.
Treat yourself - You've worked hard, now enjoy a treat!
Take it in stride - We all have our less than spectacular moments, it's how we bounce back that matters.
Listen - To those around you.
Be a go getter - Don't sit around wishing for things to happen, chase what you want!
Have fun – Never miss an opportunity to have a little fun. As humans we sometimes get too caught up with ourselves....relax, enjoy yourself and most important of all, Laugh
