What is African Cats Rated?
Is Disneynature's latest film suitable for children?
Disneynature's African Cats is rated G. However, it is a nature documentary and there are some scenes with animals hunting and dying. It is kind of 'neatly' done and there is not a lot of blood seen but there are 'characters' that go missing and there is implied death that may bother young children and/or adults who are squeamish. Having said that, there is a lot to learn in this movie about the African savanna and about how cheetahs and lions live and differ and about a mother's love.
Common Sense Media recommends it for children aged 6 and up.
