   I adopted a wild cat,  He will come in and visit but he likes the freedom of the outdoors.

   We had a pair of wrens that made their nest in a fuchsia in the hanging basket on our patio.  if I was out there, one of them, don't know if it was mum or dad, would come and perch on my shoulder and just sit there, even come indoors if I went and made a cuppa.  Is that a pet or is it a wild bird behaving weirdly, who knows.  When the chicks fledged, the family moved on.

   as I sit here pondering this " question" im watching my pit bull chase my cat down so she can lick her clean. 
   
   non domestic... well Ive had a few Raccoons, a opossum, two squirrels and a bob cat over the years.   I figure if they hang around with out being restrained outside, they can stay as long as they want too.

   Yes, very much so. I let her fly free when Im home, and don't clip her wings unless we are traveling. For her safety. They just "Fly" and they will get eaten up by local birds or cars. go. I feel an obligation to keep this parrot alive, as there are few in the wild. They live 45-60 years, so they must be thought of as a living family member.
   
   I thought long and hard about adopting an exotic bird, I did a lot of research beforehand, I didn't find her sex, because it was not an issue. She chose me, and continues to train me through the years. She has it pretty good.

   I don't keep non-domestic animals as pets, but after my outside cat, Mr. Queenie eats, the 3 racoons that live close or the weasel, or the skunk family come and eat what he leaves behind.   I would never make them pets.  They are freeloaders and my cat food is costing me a bunch!  But I cannot see them go humgry.  I feed wild birds and humming birds also.  I ejoy knowing that they like to come here to dine out!  I even take pictures of them.  They are Gods creatures also.  God put them here first before us and yet we rule over them, and even eat or kill them.  How fair is that?  And yet they sometimes depend on us.  No one most of them don't trust us.
