I have a male and female chihuahua. I heard my female crying earlier on today and I found them...

stuck to eachother. I know that it is part of breeding but they were stuck for less then a minute. Will my female still get pregnant ?

this happened with the yorkies that my mom breeds.

The... erm... "sticky solution" causes a problem after the good deed. The yelping was just the girl crying because fur and skin got stuck during the process.

We had li'l pups afterwards, so... you should be fine (if by "fine" you mean "have babies".). They'll probably do the deed a few times, and you'll hear more yelping.

i'm a sicko and thought it was pretty funny!

Usually a tie lasts 10 to 30 minutes with about 20 minutes being the average. But when they are stuck together sit between them holding the collar of each so that they don't move too far or one tries to sit. It is uncomfortable for the female so she might try to run. Tearing can take place and it become sore or infected. She's probably not pregnant, but if it happens again just stay close and keep watch.

This is the first and last time that I will be breeding them, family members really want a pup so that is my only reason for doing it this one time. I was told to try to keep them together but it just seems impossible because they are going into different areas of the house where there is no one around. I only found out that it took place was because of my female yelping. They have done it twice in the past 4 hours and when they see me coming my female runs off and they seperate. It's really hard to try getting a hold of these small dogs, they are so quick.
