The puppy should be taken to a qualified vet at least once. The vet can do an exam and make recommendations. Medications for pets can vary just as they can for people. Many pets suffer needlessly because something is not diagnosed. So when you say "Without going to a vet" I suspect that maybe a puppy may not be for you.
She's been to a vet, when she was very young. She's now 9 months old and I cannot remember the suggested worming- shots - etc. regiment. She isn't sick or anything. Since this is my first dog, I'm not sure the schedule.
as long as she had everything from the person you got her from when she was very young she should just need her yearly shots from now on. but for the health of your dog i would at least call the vets office and ask.
