My 7 year old cat cat is tender around abdomen and back, is sitting upright all the time, is...
vomiting irregularly and not eating very much, her temperature is elevated by 1 degree. What could be wrong?
There are so many possibilities, and still so many questions. Does the cat favor one side over another? Has the lack of appetite been gradual or did it come suddenly? is the vomiting after it attempts to eat? What color is the vomit? Does it hide or otherwise have any changed behaviors? Is it an outdoor cat? And there are probably other questions that may be important as well.
You ought to get yourself and your cat to the vet if you really want to find out what's going on. Only a vet would be qualified and able to treat your pet. I hope that things go well, and that it's not something serious. Good luck!
You need to have your cat looked at by a professional. There are numerous possibilities as to what could be wrong. Puebloman's answer is not only untrue (the average house cat lives past 15) , but extremely insensitive.
